Tyga 300cc big bore kits
This is a simple bolt on replacement top end kit which radically improves the power characteristics of your NSR250. It transforms the mid range, allowing for much greater acceleration out of turns. But that's not all, there is power everywhere! The peak power is noticeably improved and consequently top speed and the engine feels stronger all over. This is the biggest boost you can give to the performance of your NSR250. Why simply rebuild your engine when you can upgrade it with one of these kits? Why wait until you need a rebuild? Take the 250cc top end off and save it in a cupboard and bolt this 300cc kit on and enjoy the difference! (Please note that due to cylinder differences, the standard NSR expansion chambers will not fit without modification, and this kit does not include expansion chambers) Due to the extra power of the 300cc kit, it is essential that your base engine is in good condition. This applies particularly to the crankshaft and clutch assemblies. These are also available from us Dry clutch rebuild kit £129.00 Bottom end rebuild kit £510.00 Technical details Bore & Stroke is 59mm x 54.5mm giving a total displacement of 298cc. Parts included in the NSR300 kit. VHM
VHM are a respected manufacturer of high quality racing parts used by factory teams world wide. We are now pleased to be able to offer their cylinder heads for use on the Suzuki RGV250, Aprilia RS250 and also Honda NSR250. The VHM cylinder head is designed with central spark plug position for superior burn, and removeable combustion chamber inserts so that changes of compression ratios are quick and simple, and no more wasted head gaskets thanks to the O-ring design This head set comes with following parts: 2x cylinder head 2x standard insert (12.60cc) This VHM head set uses the standard water hose spigots. The standard spark plugs may be used. Detailed instructions on the setting up of VHM heads can be found on their website.
